I'm very pleased with the purchase. I was looking for something sturdy, attractive, and moderately priced that would fit underneath my mounted TV. This piece definitely fit the bill. The item arrived on time and was in excellent condition - no shipping damage. It took approximately 3 hours to put together but was really quite straightforward. The only complaint I have is that it was challenging to get the glass door level to the bottom of the piece, so it was rubbing against the shelf when opening and closing. After a few tries, we were able to make it level, but I don't have a ton of confidence it will stay that way if we use the door alot (which we don't at this point.)
Overall, a really good piece for the price.

I received this shipment in tack and was suprised at the weight of the container. While unpacking be sure that everything is there because there are no extras. Construction would be easier with another pair of hands but one person can manage if you are fairly handy with puzzles. After reading an earlier posting I can confirm that extreme caution should be observed while installing item #5 (traverse bar), it can easily split if too much pressure is applied during installation. Make sure that the screws are tighted to the point of second resistance MAX to keep from creating a problem!! This unit is a well engineered ,dust attracting, beauty thats looks High End holding my all Black Theather System equipment. I think I made a good buy.

Though the unit serves its function and looks very nice, the cross members above and below the glass door have both split. I looked into filing a complaint to the manufacturer but don't see an option to do that through Amazon or the manf. website.
