For the significant reduction in cost compared to the other brand that also claims to be "laser fitted", these mats provide complete protection and are a necessity if you're looking to protect carpet from winter's salt, sand, and slush. I'm making this review simple because these mats are simply fantastic. Period. I bought them for my '09 Ford Escape. Perfect fit. Quick install.

As others say these do fit well. They are molded with about a 1 to 1.5 inch lip all the way around the mat. For sure these will catch a lot of water / snow. My best guess would be that you could pour a gallon of water in the front drivers floor and it would not even fill the liner to the top of the lip.
