An excellent, versatile saw. I had the older version and built cabinets for my boat out of "Starboard". The blade is so thin that you can cut the door out, simply rout it and it looks great.
Recently, I have had some cuts in awkward, overhead positions... no sweat with this saw. I also used it with the stock blade to cut Hardibacker. Great cuts with very little dust. Love this lil thing!

This little saw carries a big punch. I was amazed when I ripped two sheets of OSB and had plenty of power to continue cutting
other pieces of OSB. It crosscut rough cut pine without any effort.

When I powered this unit up for the first time, my impression was that it wouldn't cut much at all due to the relatively slow revolution of the saw blade. Although the battery had been fully charged the night before, it appeared to have mostly lost its charge by the next day.
But no! The saw cut like a champ. (My application involved 3/4" stock.) Once in use, however, the batteries did seem to tire out before too very long.
Swapping batteries, I didn't notice the "sticking" problem complained about in previous posts. Perhaps the manufacturer has recognized and fixed the problem. At any rate, the batteries for my unit swap in and out quite easily.
Why four stars (instead of five)? No carrying case included, despite what was pictured.
P.S. Why aren't saws of this size and capacity offered retail at local outlets like Home Depot or Lowes?
